Soccer Recap: Southeast Takes a Loss

Southeast and Manatee combined for 18 shots on goal on Friday, which explains the impressive six total goals scored. The Southeast Seminoles lost 5-1 to the Manatee Hurricanes. The match was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly the Seminoles struggled afterwards.

Their goal came courtesy of Ayah Martinez, which was the first she's scored this season.

Southeast has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine contests, which lines up perfectly with their 1-9-2 record this season. As for Manatee, their victory bumped their record up to 6-7-1.

Southeast has already played their next game, a 10-0 defeat against Palmetto on the 11th. As for Manatee, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 7-0 loss against Braden River on the 14th.
