Pocono Mountain West hadn't done well against Lehighton recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Panthers came out on top against the Indians by a score of 3-1. This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered a 3-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Pocono Mountain West had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-17, 25-14, 25-21.

Their offense was headlined by Hannah Bossuyt and Madison Clark, who picked up ten kills apiece. They got some help from Mya Olizarowicz and her 29 assists. Kaya Kaczmarek controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Pocono Mountain West's record now sits at 8-6. As for Lehighton, they dropped their record down to 4-7 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pocono Mountain West will host Northampton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lehighton, they will take on Notre Dame-Green Pond at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
