Softball Recap: Dos Palos Makes It Five in a Row at Home

Dos Palos got themselves on the board against Caruthers on Tuesday, but Caruthers never followed suit. They walked away with a 5-0 win over the Blue Raiders. This was a revenge game for the Broncos: when they faced off against the Blue Raiders back in March, they had to take a 3-2 loss.

Dos Palos' victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-7-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Caruthers, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.
