Softball Recap: Leon Wins Going Away Against Normangee

Leon won the last time they faced Normangee and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Cougars blew past the Panthers 14-3. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by nine runs or more this season.

Leon is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-10 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.2 runs over those games. As for Normangee, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-15.

Coming up, Leon will head out to take on Grapeland at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Normangee does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
