Our Lady Academy had already won seven in a row and they went ahead and made it eight on Saturday. They came out on top against the Long Beach Bearcats by a score of 2-0. The Crescents have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bearcats, too.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Our Lady Academy was: they took both sets by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-12.

Myah Favre paced Our Lady Academy's offense, picking up 11 kills. Favre got some help from Taylor Henley and her 12 assists. Henley was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Our Lady Academy's victory bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Long Beach, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Our Lady Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Purvis on the 23rd. Long Beach has also already played their next game (against Hancock), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
