Volleyball Recap: Triton's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Triton had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the South Bend Washington Panthers.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Triton was: they took both sets by at least 14 points. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-10.

Triton's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sophie Howell, who had five aces and four digs. Those five aces gave Howell a new career-high.

Triton's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for South Bend Washington, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Triton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Frontier on the 16th. As for South Bend Washington, they will challenge South Bend Career Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
