Softball Recap: Almeta Crawford Takes a Loss

Almeta Crawford and La Grange squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Almeta Crawford had to settle for second. They came up short against the Leopards, falling 10-0. The Chargers just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Almeta Crawford saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tiffany Rodriguez, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. Rodriguez has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last seven times she's played.

Almeta Crawford now has a losing record of 8-9. As for La Grange, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 18-8.
