Basketball Recap: Sabetha Comes Up Short

Sabetha was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Ottawa Cyclones, falling 53-29. While losing is never fun, the Bluejays can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 290th, while the Cyclones are ranked 117th).

Sabetha's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Ottawa, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sabetha will face off against Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ottawa, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Osage City at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
