St. Raphael Academy took a six-run loss the last time they faced off against Mt. Hope, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Saints won by a run and slipped past the Huskies 6-5. This was payback for the Saints, who suffered a 9-3 defeat the last time these two teams met.

St. Raphael Academy has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Mt. Hope, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Raphael Academy will challenge Rogers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mt. Hope, they will face off against Bishop Hendricken at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
