Volleyball Recap: St. Joseph Catholic Comes Up Short

St. Joseph Catholic lost against Hartfield Academy back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bruins came up short against the Hawks, falling 3-0. The Bruins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-11, 25-16.

Hartfield Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Logan Swan out in front who had eight digs and two aces. What's more, Swan posted five assists, the most she's had since back in October of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Haley Collins, who had four aces.

St. Joseph Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Hartfield Academy, with the win, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 20-13.

St. Joseph Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hartfield Academy, they will take on Simpson Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
