Football Recap: Northridge Falls Despite Big Games from Karsyn Rumfelt and Keivontre Copeland

Northridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 21-14 to the Concord Minutemen. The Raiders were not able to make up for their loss to the Minutemen from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Northridge's loss came despite strong showings from Keivontre Copeland and Karsyn Rumfelt. Copeland picked up 172 receiving yards and one score, while Rumfelt threw for 300 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Concord's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was CHAR'RESE BREVEARD, who rushed for 96 yards and a pair of TDs, and also picked up 44 receiving yards. BREVEARD has been hot recently, having also posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was DEREK GOMEZ, who gained 151 total yards.

Northridge's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Concord, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.
