Softball Recap: Clearfield Falcons vs. Viewmont Vikings
Clearfield put the finishing touches on their eighth blowout victory of the season on Wednesday. They blew past the Viewmont Vikings 14-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for Clearfield.
The team relied heavily on Brynn Nicholls, who fired off two home runs and nine RBI while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Elizabeth Salazar, who scored three runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
On Viewmont's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Molly Roberts, who went 1-for-3 with an RBI. Roberts has been consistent recently: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in four consecutive pitching appearances.
