Basketball Game Preview: New Braunfels Unicorns vs. Boerne Greyhounds

The New Braunfels Unicorns will venture away from home to challenge the Boerne Greyhounds at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.

New Braunfels is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Alamo Heights just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They received a blow as they fell 62-48 to the Mules.

Meanwhile, Boerne entered their tilt with Pieper on Tuesday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They skirted past the Warriors 45-42.

Boerne has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. As for New Braunfels, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-10.

New Braunfels was able to grind out a solid victory over Boerne in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, winning 49-41. Does New Braunfels have another victory up their sleeve, or will Boerne turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
