Savannah won the last time they faced Lafayette and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Savages walked away with a 6-3 victory over the Fighting Irish.

Savannah's win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 5-5. As for Lafayette, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Savannah is set to take on their familiar foe Cameron at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Lafayette will challenge rival Maryville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
