Baseball Recap: Caprock Takes a Loss

Caprock's last matchup with Lubbock-Cooper could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Thursday. The Longhorns lost 16-3 to the Pirates. The Longhorns just can't catch a break and have now endured six losses in a row.

Caprock saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cobin Morales, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Caprock's defeat dropped their record down to 6-17. As for Lubbock-Cooper, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-7-1 record this season.
