Baseball Game Preview: Satanta Indians vs. Elkhart Wildcats

Satanta is 0-10 against Elkhart since April of 2018 but things could change on Thursday. The Indians will head out on the road to square off against the Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. Satanta has given up an average of 17.8 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Satanta is headed into Thursday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their tenth straight game on Thursday. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 13-12 heartbreaker at the hands of Sublette. Even if the Indians couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Meanwhile, Elkhart beat Southwestern Heights 12-8 on Monday.

Satanta's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Elkhart, their win bumped their record up to 9-3.

Satanta couldn't quite finish off Elkhart when the teams last played back in April of 2024 and fell 11-9. Can the Indians avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
