Football Recap: Harding Academy Lions vs. Tipton-Rosemark Academy Rebels
Harding Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 42-6 loss at the hands of the Tipton-Rosemark Academy Rebels. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 41-8 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.
Nix Fullen was his usual excellent self, rushing for 200 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries for Tipton-Rosemark Academy. Fullen's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 112 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Harding Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Tipton-Rosemark Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.
Harding Academy will host First Assembly Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Tipton-Rosemark Academy, they will venture away from home to challenge Jackson Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Tipton-Rosemark Academy's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last four matches.
