Basketball Recap: Kamden Wright Key Part of Team Effort in Rockets Win

Conotton Valley's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against the Springfield Spartans by a score of 69-57. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Rockets considering their 30-point performance the contest before.

Conotton Valley's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kamden Wright, who posted 20 points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals. RJ Higgenbotham was another key player, dropping a double-double with 13 points and ten boards.

Conotton Valley now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Springfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Conotton Valley will head out to square off against Strasburg-Franklin at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rockets are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a three-game losing streak. Springfield has already played their next matchup (against Streetsboro), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
