Delaware Military Academy faced Smyrna in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Seahawks fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 2-1. The Seahawks haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Delaware Military Academy's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Smyrna, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Delaware Military Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 13-0 victory against Archmere Academy on the 29th. As for Smyrna, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 14-0 win against Dover on the 29th.
