Orange Lutheran faced Redondo Union in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Lancers simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Sea Hawks 46-0. The win made it a perfect season for the Lancers.
A big part of Orange Lutheran's  victory came down to the chemistry between  Makena Cook and her top target  Happy Dubois. Cook threw for 303 yards and six  TDs while completing 75.6% of her passes while  Dubois picked up 132 receiving yards and four  touchdowns. Cook has been hot, having  posted three or more  passing touchdowns the last six times she's  played.
 Orange Lutheran didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Dubois and  Claire Brakefield.
Orange Lutheran's win bumped their record up to 16-0. As for Redondo Union, their loss  ended  a  five-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 7-2.
 Looking ahead, Orange Lutheran will be playing at home against Aliso Niguel  at 4:45  p.m.  on Monday. As for Redondo Union, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next  game,  a  20-7  victory against Palos Verdes on the 11th.
