Basketball Recap: McKeesport Comes Up Short

McKeesport was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 52-49 heartbreaker at the hands of the Greater Latrobe Wildcats. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Tigers have suffered since January 10, 2025.

McKeesport now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Greater Latrobe, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-12.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. McKeesport is set to take on their familiar foe Gateway at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Greater Latrobe will challenge rival Albert Gallatin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
