Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Roosevelt). Everything went their way against the Firebaugh Eagles on Thursday as the Roosevelt Rough Riders made off with a 15-4 victory. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Rough Riders considering their two-run performance the game before.

Roosevelt is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. Firebaugh dropped their record down to 1-7 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Roosevelt will take on Hoover at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Hoover will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last. As for Firebaugh, they will welcome Highland at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
