Volleyball Recap: Farrington Victorious

While Farrington's win against Roosevelt wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Farrington Governors sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Roosevelt Rough Riders on Monday. The Governors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rough Riders, too.

Farrington had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 23-25, 27-25, 25-17, 16-14.

Farrington now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Roosevelt, their defeat was their first of the season and also makes their record 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Farrington will face off against Kalani at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Roosevelt, they will welcome 'Anuenue at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
