Basketball Recap: Grants Comes Up Short

Grants suffered their closest defeat since January 19th on Thursday. They fell just short of the Gallup Bengals by a score of 56-53. The loss continues a trend for the Pirates in their matchups with the Bengals: they've now lost three in a row.

Grants' defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Gallup, the win made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Grants will be home for the holidays to greet Rehoboth Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Gallup, they will take on Academy for Technology and The Classics in a tournament on Thursday.
