 In what's become a running theme this season, Countryside gave their fans yet another huge  win on Thursday. They were the clear victor by  a  14-1 margin over the Indian Rocks Christian Eagles.
  Kaylyn Mitchum made a splash while hitting and pitching. She  pitched five innings while giving up just one earned run off   three  hits. Mitchum was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-4.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Kiara Mata, who  scored two  runs while going 3-for-5.  Ali Strickland was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 3-for-4.
 On Indian Rocks Christian's side, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Braylee Rano, who  scored a  run off of  one  hit.
 Even though they lost, Indian Rocks Christian  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of 2.250. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Countryside only posted  an  OBP of  .486.
 Countryside's victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Indian Rocks Christian, they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-7.
 Countryside will be staying on the road  on Tuesday to face off against Canterbury at 7:00  p.m. Countryside is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 7.2  runs per game this season. As for Indian Rocks Christian, they will look to defend their home field  on Tuesday against York at 6:00  p.m. Indian Rocks Christian has given up an average of 13.2 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
