Gibson County and Milan squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Gibson County had to settle for second. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. The Pioneers' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Gibson County's loss dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Milan, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-14 record this season.

Gibson County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Milan, they have already played their next game, an 8-4 win against Westview on the 4th.
