Volleyball Game Preview: Elk Grove Thundering Herd vs. Sheldon Huskies

For the first time this season, Elk Grove will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup on Tuesday. They will be playing at home against the Sheldon Huskies at 5:30 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Elk Grove saw some tournament action on Saturday. They came out on top against Vanden by a score of 2-0.

Meanwhile, Sheldon came tearing into Friday's match with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Sheldon's got stronger as the match went on, holding Kennedy to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-18, 25-15.

Elk Grove's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Sheldon, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 4-1.
