Baseball Recap: Providence School Stallions vs. Bishop Snyder Cardinals

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Providence School can now relate to. They fell just short of the Bishop Snyder Cardinals by a score of 6-5 on Tuesday. The Stallions were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cardinals earlier this season, when they won 9-6.

Luke Manderson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and fired off two home runs and three RBI while going 2-for-3.

This is the second loss in a row for Providence School and nudges their season record down to 15-10. As for Bishop Snyder, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 20-5.

Providence School does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bishop Snyder, they will challenge Trinity Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Cardinals 3.8, the Conquerors 2.2) so any runs scored will be well earned.
