Volleyball Game Preview: San Marin Mustangs vs. Archie Williams Peregrine Falcons

San Marin hasn't had much luck against Archie Williams recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

San Marin is headed into the game having just suffered their biggest defeat since March 20th last Thursday. They came up short against Terra Linda, falling 3-0.

While San Marin was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-20, 27-25, 25-10.

Meanwhile, Archie Williams was not able to break out of their rough patch last Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They lost 3-0 to Redwood.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-17, 25-14.

Archie Williams' defeat dropped their record down to 6-18. As for San Marin, their loss dropped their record down to 2-19.

San Marin suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Archie Williams in their previous matchup back in March. Can the Mustangs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
