Volleyball Recap: Bronson Beats Brandywine for Their Sixth Straight Win

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Bronson had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They came out on top against the Brandywine Bobcats by a score of 2-0. The victory was familiar territory for the Vikings, who have now won six matchups in a row.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Bronson was: they took both sets by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-12.

Bronson's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Itzel Albarran led the charge by getting three digs and three aces. That's the most aces Albarran has posted over her last 11 contests. Hadley Wagaman was another key player, getting nine digs and one assist.

Bronson's win bumped their record up to 19-9-6. As for Brandywine, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-17 record this season.

Coincidentally, Bronson and Brandywine will both be playing Berrien Springs the next time they take the court. The Vikings will host the Shamrocks at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Bobcats will head out to face them at 9:00 p.m. on Saturday.
