            Volleyball Recap: Hoke County Bucks vs. Fayetteville Academy Eagles        
        
		
        
        
            Hoke County lost against Fayetteville Academy back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Wednesday. The Bucks fell just short of the Eagles by a score of  3-2. The Bucks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Hoke County took Fayetteville Academy into a fifth set  but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-22, 25-17, 20-25,  15-13.
 Tyler Hines paced Hoke County's offense, picking up eight kills. Hines got some help from  Heiden Small and his 13 assists. Finally,  Savion Kinston kept Hoke County's defense grounded, leading the team with ten blocks.
  Moeid Shahood was the offensive standout of the  contest as he  had 17  digs. Those  17  digs gave  him a new career-high.  Sam Surles also deserves some recognition as  he  had his first  block of the season.
Hoke County now  has a losing record of 8-9. As for Fayetteville Academy, the  win was  the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-3.
 Hoke County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fayetteville Academy, they will square off against Freedom Christian Academy at 5:15  p.m.  on Monday.
