East Knox and Centerburg are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2020, but not for long. The East Knox Bulldogs will head out to square off against the Centerburg Trojans at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Last Tuesday, East Knox came up short against Utica and fell 44-36. While the Bulldogs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Redskins 12-6 in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, Centerburg entered their tilt with Mt. Gilead on Thursday with three consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with four. They strolled past the Indians with points to spare, taking the game 42-27. Given the Trojans' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 123rd, while the Indians are ranked 483rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

East Knox's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Centerburg, their win bumped their record up to 20-3.

East Knox was dealt a bruising 62-34 defeat at the hands of Centerburg in their previous matchup back in January. Can East Knox avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
