Basketball Recap: North Yarmouth Academy Comes Up Short

North Yarmouth Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss. They were beaten by the St. Dominic Saints 76-19. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maine basketball rankings (they are ranked 129th, while the Saints are ranked 50th).

North Yarmouth Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15. As for St. Dominic, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-2.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Sacopee Valley the next time they take the court. St. Dominic will head out to face Sacopee Valley at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, while North Yarmouth Academy will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
