Baseball Game Preview: Biloxi Indians vs. Harrison Central Red Rebels

For the second straight game, Biloxi will face off against Harrison Central. The Indians will face off against the Red Rebels at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.

Biloxi took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Harrison Central a 10-0 shutout.

Not much got past Shawn Gollott, who gave up just a hit to keep Harrison Central off the board. Gollott has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Biloxi got a massive performance out of Gage Dalferes, who went 3-for-4 with six RBI. Those six RBI gave Dalferes a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Connor Lofton, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Biloxi was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Harrison Central dropped their record down to 6-19 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Biloxi, their victory bumped their record up to 11-14.
