After flying high against Lamar last Wednesday, Hartsville came back down to earth. The Hartsville Red Foxes were outmatched by the Wilson Tigers and fell 75-24. While losing is never fun, the Red Foxes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 165th, while the Tigers are ranked 19th).

Zoey Miller was her usual excellent self, going 12 of 17 on her way to 33 points and three steals for Wilson. Miller is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 15 games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Leah Spears, who posted eight points along with ten steals and eight assists.

Hartsville's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Wilson, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

Hartsville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 46-15 win against Central on the 21st. Wilson and Trinity Collegiate will round out the year against one another at at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Wilson's defense has only allowed 28.9 points per game this season, so Trinity Collegiate's offense will have their work cut out for them.
