Volleyball Recap: Okeechobee Takes a Loss

Okeechobee extended their losing streak to three on Tuesday, dropping them down to 1-3. They lost 3-0 to the Centennial Eagles. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Brahmans have suffered against the Eagles since August 24, 2017.

Azariah Washington paced Okeechobee's offense, picking up 16 kills. Washington got some help from Lindy Harwus and her 15 assists. Alyssa Madrigal controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

As for Centennial, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory they have posted against Okeechobee since August 24, 2017.

Centennial can attribute much of their success to Zoey Armstrong, who had 11 assists and seven digs.

Okeechobee didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against St. Edward's on the 27th. As for Centennial, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Somerset College Prep Academy on the 27th.
