Basketball Recap: Jackson Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Jackson can now relate to. They fell just short of the Waverly Tigers by a score of 51-49 on Tuesday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Ironman/Ironladies came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 151st, while the Tigers are ranked 409th).

Jackson's defeat dropped their record down to 17-6. As for Waverly, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-15.

While Jackson had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
