Baseball Game Preview: Adena Warriors vs. Zane Trace Pioneers

The Adena Warriors will head out to take on the Zane Trace Pioneers at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Adena fell victim to Westfall and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 10-0 to the Mustangs, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Zane Trace has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.79 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Thursday. They fell 10-7 to Valley. The Pioneers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Adena's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Zane Trace, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-3.
