Volleyball Recap: Sophie Wilczek and Delia Trader Secure Win for Columbus Catholic

Columbus Catholic entered their tilt with Spencer on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Rockets by a score of 3-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Dons also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Columbus Catholic had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 25-23, 25-22, 25-10.

Leading Columbus Catholic to victory were Delia Trader and Sophie Wilczek. Trader had 25 digs and two aces, while Wilczek had 19 assists. That's the most assists Wilczek has posted over her last seven matchups. Izzy Holz also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.
