Softball Recap: Napoleon Takes a Loss

Napoleon lost against Northwest on Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Pirates lost 9-2 to the Mounties. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Napoleon's loss dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Northwest, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Napoleon will head out to challenge Columbia Central at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. The Golden Eagles' pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so the Pirates' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Northwest, they will head out on the road to square off against Pinckney at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
