The Antioch Christian Academy Gators will head out on the road to face off against the Mullins Marion Christian Cavaliers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Antioch Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Friday.
Antioch Christian Academy waltzed into their match on Friday with eight straight wins dating back to last season but they left with nine. They really took it to Christ the Cornerstone Academy for the full four quarters, racking up a 54-22 victory at home.
Hayden Larrimore had a dynamite game for Antioch Christian Academy, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 17 rebounds. Paityn Evans was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, Mullins Marion Christian's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They fell to Maranatha Christian 35-30.
Antioch Christian Academy's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0. As for Mullins Marion Christian, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
