Soccer Recap: Estero Comes Up Short

After soaring to five goals the game before, Estero was a bit more limited in their match on Thursday. They fell 3-1 to the Fort Myers Green Wave. Estero were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Fort Myers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Estero's goal came courtesy of Anthony Pando, who's now up to five this season.

Estero's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Fort Myers, they now have a winning record of 2-1-1.

Coming up, Estero is taking a road trip to challenge Canterbury at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Fort Myers, they will take on Cape Coral at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Cape Coral's last four matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
