Baseball Game Preview: Octorara Area Braves vs. Conestoga Valley Buckskins

The Octorara Area Braves will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against the Conestoga Valley Buckskins at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Octorara Area is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Schuylkill Valley. Octorara Area put the hurt on Schuylkill Valley with a sharp 14-3 victory on Monday. The win was some much needed relief for the Braves as it spelled an end to their 11-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Camryn Naggy was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Naggy was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-5.

Those three runs gave Marsh a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Owen Lease, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Meanwhile, Conestoga Valley owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. They came out on top against Eastern Lebanon County by a score of 5-0.
