Softball Recap: Gallatin Takes a Loss

After flying high against University School of Jackson on Tuesday, Gallatin came back down to earth. The Gallatin Green Wave came up short against the Buckhorn Bucks on Tuesday, falling 18-2.

Gallatin's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Buckhorn, the win got them back to even at 7-7.

Looking ahead, Gallatin will be playing in front of their home fans against Station Camp at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Gallatin has given up an average of 8.8 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Buckhorn, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-2 defeat against Walker Valley on the 12th.
