The Perkins Pirates will square off against the Norwalk Truckers at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. Perkins is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9 runs per game this season.

Perkins lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Bellevue, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Wednesday's game. The Pirates put the hurt on the Redmen with a sharp 13-4 victory on Wednesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Pirates.

Caden McClellan spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and three unearned) runs on 13 hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.
