Football Recap: Yaretzy Evidarte and Angela Castro Pace Norte Vista Defense

Saturday just wasn't the day for Norte Vista's offense. They fell 6-0 to the Arlington Lions on Saturday. The Braves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Norte Vista didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Yaretzy Evidarte and Angela Castro.

Norte Vista has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season. As for Arlington, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-7-1 record.

Norte Vista has already played their next contest, a 12-0 win against San Gorgonio on the 8th. Arlington has also already played their next match (against JW North), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
