Football Recap: Landrum Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Landrum had lost four straight on the road, but on Friday they dropped down to 3-5 to make it five. They were dealt a 56-14 defeat at the hands of the Clinton Red Devils. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cardinals of the 56-22 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

As for Clinton, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 48.0 points over those games.

Javen Cook had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 334 yards and five TDs on only 13 carries. Those five rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. KJ Vance was another key back, rushing for 85 yards and one touchdown on only five carries.
