Soccer Recap: Ceres Finishes Even with Johansen

For the first time since back in December of 2024, Ceres was forced to settle for a draw on Thursday. Neither they nor the Johansen Vikings could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Ceres' goal came courtesy of Leo Baez, who's now up to five this season.

Ceres' draw gives them a new season record of 7-6-5. Meanwhile, Johansen's record is now 8-8-3.

Ceres will head out on the road to challenge Lathrop at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Johansen, they will host Pacheco at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Johansen's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
