Texas Wind barely beat Bishop Reicher Catholic the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Texas Wind put the hurt on Bishop Reicher Catholic with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. Texas Wind not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 4, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

Texas Wind never let Bishop Reicher Catholic on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-17, 27-25, 25-16.

Hayleigh Hughes paced Texas Wind's offense, picking up nine kills. Hughes got some help from Makayla Harvey and her 16 assists. Kenna Hall controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

The victory got Texas Wind back to even at 1-1.

Texas Wind wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Grace Academy on the 12th. As for Bishop Reicher Catholic, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Lingleville on the 14th.
