Limon has gone 8-2 against Burlington recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Badgers will square off against the Cougars at 3:00 p.m. Limon is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last ten games.

On Saturday, Limon needed a bit of extra time to put away Estes Park. They skirted past the Bobcats 10-9. That's two games straight that the Badgers have won by just one run.

Limon let Camdyn Tacha and Braxten Churchwell run wild. Tacha scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances, while Churchwell scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Brody Scherrer, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.

Meanwhile, the third road game was the charm for Burlington, as they earned their first away win of the season. They put the hurt on Wray with a sharp 8-2 victory on Saturday. The win was some much needed relief for the Cougars as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Lenny Ramirez was incredible, scoring a run while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. What's more, he posted two doubles, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. Darian McDonough also deserves some recognition as he launched his first home run of the season.

Limon pushed their record up to 10-2 with the victory, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Burlington, they picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 3-6.

Limon took their win against Burlington when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 14-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Badgers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
